Welcome to Nonplused – a hodge-podge of cultural confetti from the minds of bored young professionals!

We at Nonplused believe in the following:

-Over-analysis is a virtue: Super interesting things are lurking in the people, places, and events we all stumble through every day

- Anthro-Lite: There is useful and fun truth to cultural anthropology…as long as it’s not written in obtuse academic babble

- Routine Existential Crises: It’s totally fair game to flip between damning the man and embracing our glorious consumer society — it’s one of the privileges of being young and selfish

- Pigging Out on High and Low culture: Movies and Magazines and Music and Art and Eating and Drinking and Fashion and Playing Outside

Who are we?
Just some mid-twenties ladies in NY and LA looking to enhance their daily cubicle lives with a nod to their overpriced liberal arts education (Look Mom, I used my Cultural Anthropology degree for something!). When we are together, all we do is eat, drink, have dance parties, and thrift shop. When we are apart, all we do is watch shitty television and dissect our lives via gchat and other assorted **magical** technologies.
